Steady support through life’s transitions

If stress or anxiety is affecting your sleep, mood, relationships, or school or work performance, therapy can help you understand what’s going on and build tools to manage it.

A lot can shift at once during high school, college, and your early twenties—responsibilities, relationships, decisions about the future, and the excitement and fear of leaving what’s familiar. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed.

We’ll work collaboratively to identify patterns that may be contributing to stress or anxiety and build strategies you can use in school, at home, and in your relationships.

My role is to help you feel supported, make sense of what you’re feeling, build practical tools, and feel more confident navigating change.

Many clients start noticing small but meaningful changes within the first month or two.

Why I Do This Work

I know firsthand how helpful it can be to have an ongoing relationship with a therapist as a student or young adult. I faced my own challenges during that time, and having a therapist I trusted made it easier to navigate unexpected stress and emotions. That experience shapes the way I show up for students today: with consistency, care, and encouragement.

Being Jewish, I also understand the stress many students are feeling in response to growing antisemitism on campuses and in the world. I offer a space where you can talk openly about those experiences, feel understood, and build resilience during an especially difficult time.

When you have a therapist you trust in your corner, the tough moments feel less overwhelming and the next steps feel more manageable.

My Approach

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, and strengths-based techniques.

I explain things in plain language and make sure you understand not only what we’re doing, but why it helps.

I also find that humor can be healing. When it fits, it helps create ease, reduce pressure, and make the work feel more approachable.

I’ll provide you with a supportive space to:

  • Sort through what’s been coming up for you

  • Understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect

  • Learn practical skills to manage anxiety, stress, and overwhelm

  • Build on your strengths and practice coping strategies between sessions

  • Clarify what matters to you so next steps feel more manageable

  • Use planned, gradual exposure when it’s helpful for facing avoided or stressful situations
